Attractive, right... Hmm, well moving on. There have been some confusing rumors revolving around Zayn Malik, from the band One Direction. Although I can't confirm it 100%... I can confirm it on a basis I guess. Although he was seen wearing a cross, I can guarantee that Zayn is a Muslim. I saw a video when he was having dinner on the X-Factor, and he says he's eating "special chicken" which in my opinion means "halal", right? Anyway, here's some other proof:

Zayn Malik participated in Ramadan this year, where Muslims fast (don't eat/drink anything) from when the sun goes up and then it goes down again. I did it too. Anyway, on the first day, Zayn tweeted "First rosay tday , who's fasting?". I'm guessing he meant to say "first day" or...? Here's that tweet.

Next, he then RETWEETED a tweet from an Islamic Twitter. The sentence was in Arabic. He then tweeted a translation, saying "la ilaha ilallah w muhammed rasoolalah." Here are those tweets:

Now, I know what it means but for those who don't, I quickly put it into Google Translate. The translation is 100% accurate:

It means he believes in Allah and Muhammad (Muslim Prophet). Okay, so I know it's actually none of my business but I don't like arguing with people about what religion he is from .What's it to us, anyway? I just made this post to clear out the facts. The rest is his business and not ours.

P.S Malik means King in Arabic.

PP.S His Twitter is 100% him. Twitter accounts are only verified if that person is the real deal and not a poser. The actual Twitter administrators take care of that and you can't become verified unless you're famous. A blue circle looking thing with a white tick in the middle means someone is verified. Therefore, it should occur to you that what he does (drinking, having girlfriends, having tatoos)is just as bad as what you guys do - listening to music. The Quran clearly states that listening to music is haraam.

References within the context of the Holy Quran along with the Hadith of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) confirm that music is haraam. Interpreters of the Qur'an have defined the term `lahwal hadith` which is mentioned in the Qur'an as:

#) Singing and listening to songs.
#) Purchasing of male and female singers.
#) Purchase of instruments of fun and amusement.

When Sayyidana Abdullah Ibne Mas`ood (Allah be pleased with him), a very close companion of our Prophet (Peace be upon him) was asked about the meaning of the term `lahwal hadith`, he replied:
"I swear by Him besides whom there is no other God, that it refers to ghinaa (singing)."

So the moral of the story is: Don't judge others, for you could also be doing wrong.

Listen I think zayn is a Muslim. I've seen photos of him and in the background on the wall I've seen Quran. He may not be a very good muslim, neither am i, but still who cares! It's not actually haram to sing or listen to music or to date. Nothing about it in the Quraan only in Hadith and the Quraan says you mustn't listen to anything but Quraan so maybe getting a Tatoo is bad but if you ask for forgiveness it doesn't matter. Maybe Zain is a Muslim because my cousin dates and has piercings. Wearing a cross is just a fashion thing so it doesn't matter either. If Allah/God forgives you and you believe in him it doesn't matter what religion you are as long as you believe in god and the Last Day then you'll go to Heaven. Well that's my opinion.
